What is Challenger baseball?

Challenger is adaptive Little League baseball that is open to girls and boys with physical, developmental, or intellectual disabilities.  Coaches and volunteers have experience assisting players in accessing baseball at the level they require to have fun and be successful.  Players practice baseball skills and participate in scrimmages and games while practicing social skills and making friends.

When?

Spring: Mid April - Early June

Confirmed dates for spring Challenger: 

April 13th, April 20th, April 27th, May 4th, May 11th, May 18th, May 25th, June 1st

Fall: Early September - Late October

Where?

Hartman Park H6  from 2-4pm

Who?

Girls and boys ages 5-18

Cost?

Challenger Little League is FREE to all!  Includes uniform and use of all adaptive equipment.

Volunteers: Be a Challenger Buddy

Share your excitement for baseball and connect with Challenger players by volunteering to be a buddy!

Who?

Challenger baseball needs adult, teen and kid volunteers.

What?

Buddy volunteers are paired up with players to be a friend, help with skills when needed and keep players safe.  No prior experience is necessary and there will be a buddy training prior to the season.  Teen and adult buddies can also volunteer to run practice stations and assist players.
