A background check is required for all RWLL volunteers once each season.  We use the screening vendor approved by the national Little League organization.

Steps:

1.  Click the "register" link above and enter your contact information to request a background screen link.

2.  Look for an e-mail from REDMOND WEST LITTLE LEAGUE <automation@instascreen.net> with a link to confidentially enter your information and submit your background screen.  You should receive this e-mail within the next 7 days.  (You may need to check your spam/junk folder, depending on your filter settings.)

3.  Click the link and complete the form.  You only need to complete the "required" information fields (marked with an asterisk).

4.  Please allow up to 14 days for your name to appear on our list of "approved volunteers".

FAQ:  How is my confidential information protected?

DOB is required both for Little League (we have to upload lists of volunteers and that is a required field … because they use the same form as for the kids) and for background check (to be sure they are screening the right person).  SSN is also required for background check.

The reason for the 2-step process is so you can enter your SSN directly into the JD Palatine system and not have to give it to us.  We do not see your SSN.  If the screen returns any potential concerns, our League President is the only one to review them and still only sees the last four of the SSN on the screening report.
